First DNF of 2019. I read and hated the first two novellas and thus, couldn't bear to read another one. There were just too many old skool elements for my taste: alphahole heroes, jealousy, stupid misunderstandings, whiplash romance, and a surprising amount of violence. They also suffered from what most novellas suffer from, which is lack of character and plot development. Adam was my favorite Clayborne brother, and I didn't want to be disappointed in his story so I decided to skip it.
